職業(yè)規(guī)劃英文面試
Where would you like to be in 5 years?
"Where would you like to be in 5 years?"
"Where do you see yourself five years from now?"
"五年內(nèi)您想做到什么職位?"
對于面試者來說，這是個很棘手的問題，但它卻很受主考官的青睞。因為，主考官想通過您對這個問題的回答，來了解您對未來發(fā)展的計劃，更重要的是，判斷您的計劃是否切實可行，是否跟該公司未來的發(fā)展計劃相一致。
對這個問題，您可以先給出您的目標(biāo)：
"I would like to follow the management career path"
"我想沿著管理這條路走下去。"
"I would like to try the secretary career track"
"我想嘗試秘書工作。"
您還可以給自己提出更高的要求，當(dāng)然，這種要求一定得是您通過努力能夠達(dá)到的，這一點，您一定要"心中有數(shù)"：
"I’d like to be a senior manager of your company in five years."
"我想在五年內(nèi)成為貴公司的高級經(jīng)理。"
或者：
"Although it’s certainly difficult to predict things far into the future, I know what direction I want to develop toward. Within five years, I would like to become one of the best engineers in your company."
"預(yù)測未來當(dāng)然是不容易的，但我清楚自己的`發(fā)展方向。我想在五年內(nèi)成為貴公司最好的工程師之一。"
您還可以說：
"I would like to become the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so, I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibilities that might be presented in the long term."
"我想成為別人可以依賴的專家。為此，我要作好充分的準(zhǔn)備，以便在未來可以擔(dān)負(fù)起更大的責(zé)任。"
除了個人的發(fā)展外，如果您能向主考官表明您會給公司帶來進(jìn)步的話，更能打動主考官：
"In five years I want to be a valuable part of this company and help it to reach its goal. I also want to manage a challenging project and bring in latest technology that will benefit the company."
"未來的五年里，我想成為貴公司里有價值的一員，并希望幫助公司實現(xiàn)目標(biāo)。我還想經(jīng)營一個富有挑戰(zhàn)性的項目，引進(jìn)最新的技術(shù)，給公司帶來效益。"
如果您的經(jīng)驗還不夠充分，可以在"好學(xué)"這方面展示自己，比如您可以向主考官表示在他們公司里，您能學(xué)到很多東西，而且，您很愿意在該公司發(fā)展自身：
"In the next five years, I want to learn new things, gain more experience and increase my value to your company. I want to learn my job well and eventually to achieve a position of higher responsibility within your company."
"未來的五年里，我想學(xué)到新東西、獲得更多的經(jīng)驗，增加我對在貴公司的價值。我想將業(yè)務(wù)做得很精通，最終能夠在貴公司挑起更重的擔(dān)子。"
您還要給主考官一個感覺：您樂意在該公司長期干下去：
"In the next five years, I will not plan on moving or going back to school, I want to stay with this company for many years, and expect I would be very happy with this job."
"在未來的五年里，我不打算換工作或回到學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)，我想在貴公司工作較長的時間，也希望工作得很愉快。"
這樣，主考官放心了，因為每個公司都不想讓自己辛苦培養(yǎng)出來的熟練員工很快就離開公司，這樣可是要浪費公司大量的培訓(xùn)費用的。
個人職業(yè)發(fā)展計劃例子
Caroline: So what are your career objectives? And how do you perceive your own development if you were to assume this position?
Caroline: 那你的事業(yè)目標(biāo)是什么?如果你獲得了這個職位，你對自己的發(fā)展有什么想法?
Cindy: I expect to have a good opportunity to put all of my knowledge into practice. I am a doer and I can contribute a great deal to the company. I hope that within five years, I could lead an energetic and productive marketing team.
