    英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法入門:加強(qiáng)詞

      導(dǎo)語(yǔ):基礎(chǔ)打得好,提升英語(yǔ)水平才不吃力,所以一些基本的英語(yǔ)知識(shí)還是要理解。下面和小編一起來看看英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法入門:加強(qiáng)詞。希望對(duì)大家有所幫助。

    英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法入門:加強(qiáng)詞

      We use words like very, really and extremely to make adjectives stronger:

      我們用very,really和extremely來加強(qiáng)形容詞的語(yǔ)氣:

      It’s a very interesting story.

      Everyone was very excited.

      It’s a really interesting story.

      Everyone was extremely excited

      We call these words intensifiers. Other intensifiers are:

      我們稱這些詞為加強(qiáng)詞。

      amazingly-exceptionally-incredibly- remarkably -particularly

      We also use enough as an intensifier, but enough comes after its adjective:

      我們也可以用enough跟在形容詞后加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣:

      If you are seventeen you are old enough to drive a car.

      I can’t wear those shoes. They’re not big enough.

      Intensifiers with strong adjectives:

      When we want to describe something or someone as exceptional you can use a strong adjective. Strong adjectives are words like:

      當(dāng)我們描述某人或某物是特例,你可以用較強(qiáng)的形容詞。如下:

      Enormous; huge = very big

      Tiny = very small

      Brilliant = very clever

      Awful; terrible; disgusting; dreadful = very bad

      Certain = very sure

      Excellent; perfect; ideal; wonderful; splendid = very good

      Delicious = very tasty

      We do not use very with these adjectives. We do not say something is "very enormous" or someone is "very brilliant".

      我們不用very形容這些詞匯。

      With strong adjectives, for intensifiers we normally use:

      absolutely - exceptionally - particularly - really - quite

      The film was absolutely awful.

      He was an exceptionally brilliant child.

      The food smelled really disgusting.

      Intensifiers with comparatives and superlatives:

      加強(qiáng)詞的比較級(jí)或最高級(jí):

      We use these words and phrases as intensifiers with comparative adjectives:

      much - far - a lot - quite a lot - agreat deal - a good deal - a good bit - a fair bit

      He is much older than me.

      New York is a lot bigger than Boston.

      We use much and far as intensifiers with comparative adjectives in front of a noun:

      我們?cè)诿~前面,用much和far加強(qiáng)詞與比較級(jí)形容詞連用:

      France is a much bigger country than Britain.

      He is a far better player than Ronaldo.

      We use these words as intensifiers with superlatives:

      我們用這些詞作為加強(qiáng)詞與最高級(jí)連用:

      easily - by far - far

      The blue whale is easily the biggest animal in the world.

      This car was by far the most expensive.
